As part of your systems installation the following data could be collected , if you change any of the settings you should note these they may be required for support or backup pruposes.

Network Users
In order to keep you software upto date and ensure that all users have the current version we have design a MASC start-up program. This should be installed on all PC and used to start the MASC program. The update button allows the user to update their software quickly and efficently when an update has been posted.
Data Connections
When linking the data accross a network you should use the UNC rather than a mapped drive , this will ensure that the user can open the program even if the network mappings have been lost.
Data Integrity
Each week after completing your weekly backup you should ensure that all users are out of the system and then complete a compact and repair on your MASC data.
VisData
A Visual Basic Program called Visdata is included with the system to aid setup or custom exports. This should only be used by qualified technical staff who understand the data structures.
